Returning Students (Renewals)

Chances are that if your child is a returning college student you won't have to submit nearly as much paperwork as you did the first time. Most schools only require the FAFSA for returning students. Some will still want an Institutional form and very few ask for a renewal PROFILE.

For returning students we generally recommend that you simply complete and return our Renewal Datasheet. Although your child is a returning student, it is still important to have your financial aid applications filed as soon as possible. To facilitate this we encourage our families to file an estimated FAFSA prior to the completion of their 2011 tax returns. Our forms make this process easy.

Depending on your family's financial situation you may not need to provide us with any financial information at this time. If your family's finances have changed much since the previous year, simply check off the appropriate box and return the form with a copy of year-end pay stubs or W-2s. We'll take care of the rest. Once you have completed your 2011 tax returns simply mail, fax or e-mail the forms to our office. We'll take care of any updates.

Of course, if you prefer to complete your paperwork in person we're happy to accommodate you. Simply give us a call or send us an email.
